"Sitting Dave" A Joke?

Sitting Dave was started as a joke! Really.
Dave, (a dear old friend (below)) and I had been e-mailing back and forth, referring to earlier discussions, like, visiting each other, small planes in the clouds, frustrations with certain aspects of life etc. Well, Dave offered up the first few lines of a song Idea "hanging on is one kind of peace..." all the way up to, "in to the air". and then went on to respond to my previous e-mail. He signed it, like a "Dear Abbey" letter; Sitting Dave. So I picked up the guitar and started writing, as if the whole e-mail was meant to be the lyric. I made a crude audio and sent it back to him for laughs (when I find that original audio, I'll post it - so check back). So, all the way up to the bridge, with the exception of two or three things (when he referred to me as Tom, I changed that to my friend, things like that) it was right out of the e-mail.
